A More Economical Choice
Side rod a’ssy is a steering part that connects steering knuckle and center link & cross rod. Usually it consists of one set of tie rod end and rack end, or two sets of tie rod end and adjusting sleeve. This makes side rod a’ssy more flexible and easy to adjust. Because it is located on both sides of center link & cross rod, it is called side rod a’ssy. Under the assistance of ball joint, side rod a’ssy makes wheels spin through connecting center link & cross rod on power steering box.
Reminder: The design of side rod a’ssy is a more cost-efficient choice for areas that have high repair labor cost.
